Podcast and stream clips

Turn a podcast episode or a stream into shorts ready to post

You already did the hard part, which is recording something worth listening to. Cutting it into shorts is the part that eats the week, and most of that time goes on finding the moments, not on editing them.

Pieces that stand on their own

Auto-clips looks for moments that make sense with no context at all: a clear claim, a question, a story with its punchline. A great exchange that only works if you heard the previous ten minutes does not qualify, because on TikTok nobody did. Pieces that would open with "and that is why" or "like I was saying" are passed over for the point where the idea is actually introduced.

What each short looks like

You choose how many shorts you want and how long each one can run, up to 90 seconds.

No camera? Audio still works

Plenty of podcasts were never filmed, and a tool that works by cutting footage has nothing to cut. Upload the MP3 instead and the best moments come back as vertical shorts built around your real voice, with a generated image for every scene and subtitles burned in. No synthetic voice, ever.

Summaries and highlights too

The same upload can give you an auto-summary, which covers the whole episode so someone who never listened still gets the point, or auto-highlights, which pulls the peaks out of a long stream and drops the dead air in between.

Cuts that do not clip words

Every cut lands where a sentence ends, not wherever a timestamp happened to fall, and is then nudged to the quietest point nearby without ever landing inside a word. That matters most in unscripted conversation, where people rarely pause between one sentence and the next.

The limits, said plainly

Free accounts get 40 minutes of video a month, up to 40 minutes per upload. Paid plans take episodes of up to two hours each, so a longer stream needs splitting before it goes in. Only one file is processed at a time on the server, so if someone else's is running, yours waits its turn. Plans are compared on the plans page.

Questions

Frequently asked

Do I have to pick the moments myself?

No. The whole episode is transcribed and the moments are picked for you. The result page shows why each one was chosen.

How long can an episode be?

Up to 40 minutes on the free plan and up to two hours on paid plans.

Can I upload just the audio?

Yes. Audio files come back as illustrated shorts: your voice, a generated image for every scene and subtitles burned in.

Do I need rights to what I upload?

Yes. You confirm it on every upload, and the terms have the details. For your own show that is simply a checkbox.
